Netaudio London
Netaudio is London's foremost festival dedicated to the musical sounds of the Internet. It promotes the creative output of musicians, who use digital and network technologies to explore new boundaries in their work and actively supports the development of new talent. Netaudio aims to engage new audiences with interactive programme elements, such as workshops, music technology market stalls, cultural discussions and interactive sound installations.
The Netaudio Festivals in London are organised by Cenatus Music Projects, a non-profit membership organisation aiming to promote new music and develop new audiences particularly in the context of digital technologies. Estabilished in 2005, Cenatus produced the Netaudio Festival for the first time in 2006 and for the second time in 2008.
The recent 2008 Festival has accounted for over 2700 visitors. Compared with 2006, the Festival programme had been significantly expanded and included 8 audio-visual installations, 45 live performances with a total of 81 artists involved and resulted in a diverse, engaging and entertaining programme.
