Radio Stream - ECF project

The project RADIO STREAM embraces and combines Live, Sound, Visual and Radio Art. Project partnership consists of three community cultural radios AMISnet/Rome, Vallekas/Madrid and Green Wave /Tbilisi.

Output centers around six cultural radio programs and six simultaneous radio bridge live-acts, facilitated by three distant partner radios in Georgia, Italy and Spain.

It includes staff exchange between Tbilisi-Rome-Madrid. Six live-acts include: Text Stream, Dance Stream, Video Stream, Audio Stream, Visual Art Stream, Radio Stream. The live-acts identify visual as a medium of expression.

Two persons from each radio station one journalist and one artist-DJ travelling to other two partner radio countries producing two radio programs each. Three partners make six cultural programs in total. These programs will be translated and rebroadcasted at all three partner radios.

During the implementation of simultaneous live-acts the representatives of partner radios are also present in partner countries to participate in live-acts what can be a proof of cross-cultural partnership between the people of different cultural backgrounds.

It is the first occasion of cooperation and live act among these three countries’ radio stations;

The new and original in the project is the synthesis of visual and radio art.

This way the project offers artists to think about these two disciplines cooperation, about new forms and create original work.
