Istanbul Fashion Week without Istanbul

By the way as being a cultural meeting point, Istanbul has a fashion week nowadays, full of western influenced (copy pasted) styles with a flashing holywood guest who has just ran away from the first day tearing the modern style fashion tent.

Fashion week what a week, who cares about fashion its for idiots !!

Fashion is a bullshit, but clothing is a culture. Ok but why our designers continue not to present our lands' source than representing their western colleagues.

Here there is a news about the fashion week in Istanbul, it says "There is Hope in this fashion" in turkish, so I found some "Hopes" decoded in the image :

After seeing this I took a look at the fair and our "known" but internationally "not known" brand-names, same old ladies, rich family members taking black and casual-business wear with the boring monochromes in a more euro-italian style.

Starting from the repetetive fuchsia used as a holy symbol of fashion in Turkey and its english oriented not mature logo design, which describes a sun set as regarding west-oriented copy-paste view of the week ironicly...

And who cares about Meg Ryan, as she took 100.000$ to "advertise" our holy fashion week !! a western holywood mamma for a western-look-alike fashion week, oh my Allah, it should be a nightmare !!!

Most of the stand desings, clothes and accessories and the "people" looks like we are not in Istanbul but kind of milano-look-alike fashion week. Oh my god !! is it Istanbul ? Are we in Milan someone please tell me, wake me up !

And do we have an invitation for the fashion show ?? No we dont have !! So we cant see this magnicifant copy-paste action ! sorry but its enough, thank you, we have a phrase in turkish : "I dont eat it", we do not... thanks... they (the world) neither do...
