PAC Multimedia is established in 1998 in Skopje, as a first independent organization in Macedonia, registered as an Institution in the field of culture. It is managed by Executive Boards and staff members. Organisation firstly developed from simple strategy, initially as an organization composed from three Departments:
1. CULTURAL POLICY AND RESEARCH
2. ART AND COMMUNITY
3. ART AND GENDER
In the work frame of each Department there were special activities enrolling: realization of interdisciplinary, multicultural and regional projects and training programs, as well as production. It is worth mentioning that PAC Multimedia is the very first organization of this kind in the region. It is for 10 year now, located in the centre of Skopje, and operates locally, regionally and internationally. Changes in front of us are leading through multiple strategies into comprehensive, community-integrated organisation.
THE VISION::
The PAC Multimedia vision is to become a center of excellence, in the community well integrated and internationally widely recognized as such, an initiating force in creating and developing new standards of living in a wider cultural and social context in Macedonia and in the region (Balkan).
THE MISSION::
All we do is to focus to the values that society is gaining through arts and culture, thus performing in practice the values of a democratic society. PAC Multimedia is engaged in performing higher professional standards in transfer of knowledge and experience, bringing together innovative art, pubic debate, research, education, life-long learning and socially engaged work.
TARGET GROUPS::
We have few target groups that we work with:
- Cultural institutions and policy makers;
- Intellectuals, academics and researchers;
- Professional artists and art operators;
- Sub cultural groups;
- Socially marginalized groups.
