OKC Abrašević

Youth cultural center Abrašević was created out of the need to provide a space for all citizens, especially for young people, and to ensure them conditions to work and express creatively, and provide possibilities for education and discussion on social and cultural issues in B&H and the global society.
Our goal is to search for alternative visions and models of social organizations. We shall continue to look for alternative solutions for the existing political, economic and cultural reality, which is often the opposite of human needs and aspirations. Our physical and media space provides place for promotion of different social and cultural movements and different ways of thinking on the issues of local community, public space and global society.
The organizations that function within the Youth cultural center Abrašević are :
Abrašmedia (information centre), Abrašević café-club - “Mala fabrika snova”, Film club Mostar, Alternative Institute (book and music production) AB art (art production), Local Volunteer Service, etc.
