4 collaborators with cultural diversity and expertise explore new ways to create works in varying mediums and dance for different audiences.
Marie Chabert (FR), Csilla Nagy (HU), Sintija Silina (LV) and Joey Chua Poh Yi (SI) met at OMI International Arts Centre in New York (USA) as resident artists in Dance OMI International Dance Collective August 2008. During three weeks their collaboration on the theme of dreams was so stimulant they decided to continue this mutual partnership in the future.
Aptly they call themselves EU & a little mistake.
After a year EU & a little mistake met again in Tabor, Czech Republic within CESTA's 13th Arts Festival of International, Interdisciplinary Collaborations under the theme UNDERCOVERED during the August 2009 to create, share, try and collaborate.

- Dream within a dream…
-I have a plan, a serious plan. Although it’s a secret, now I’m going to tell you:
I want to go to the Moon. And you know why? I want to do a handstand on the Moon. But before I go there…
EU & a little mistake formed themselves during the residency in New York, August 2008 while working on the dance multimedia project Circle of Dreams.

EU & a little mistake used different and diverse spaces at OMI International Arts Center during the process:
- a sculpture titled Circle of Friends that consisted of five metal beds in the woods,
- a guest room bed,
- an enormous green field with a mattress as a symbolic island, and
- a sculpture titled The Royal Bed in an open field.
The themes they briefly explored were about going back to the childhood and naivety using primitive games and to develop them further in a new context, new conception. The shift and play with the board between reality and surreal worlds was also explored. As children and even as adults they have dreams, desire, unreachable plans, and loneliness despite being in the circle of friends, to be an alien, and the feeling of being unprotected. There is a warped sense of latent brutality and aggression amidst the innocence that is inherent in the work.
