neuropolis

The non-profit association neuropolis e.V.-culture at work has developed out of the Berlin-based organization team for the neuropolis festivals which took place between 1999 and 2006 in Berlin. The neuropolis festival presented a wide range of Berlin based off-theatre and was based in Theaterhaus Mitte/Berlin.
As of 2003, neuropolis collaborated with the okno theatre festival in Szczecin/Poland and the two festivals initiated an exchange between the groups of their festivals to introduce German and Polish artists to their respective festival audiences.
Now, neuropolis is working as an association for international artistic exchange, with a big interest in polish performing arts. In the future, neuropolis wishes to extend its action to other eastern neighbours.
