Somehow the image of a grazing cow and a fighting bull pops in my mind (even though I wouldn´t want to compare myself with a 4-stomached animal). Anyway, an art historian has a vivid imagination when it comes down to picturing things...

Having worked in several arts and culture related organizations in The Netherlands and the USA, it is now a pleasure to be the grants officer at the European Cultural Foundation.

Even without money great art will always be made. But financial help can improve the conditions of artists and the quality of their product(s). Supporting both artists and cultural operators is the most rewarding part of my job. Rejecting applicants is the unavoidable downside of it.
