I find it important to keep on moving, bending, aligning, expanding. My source of inspiration is a human body in touch with wild thoughts and observations, progressing from one place to another, with respect to time, and a continuous change of the position of the body in relation to a reference point. Motion is in radio waves, brain waves, traveling of light, beating of the heart, nervous stomach, trembling pea-cock, running, speaking, breathing, relating, … Stop – observe the motion – so many dancing possibilities. I care to amplify the value, the notion and understanding of dance in our society, by researching the body in relation to political and economical situations and not only using it as an aesthetical moving mechanizem. I invest in developing controle over my mind and body because I believe that is the greatest power that each of us can ever hope for.
