Nomadic Show, Shiryaevo Biennale 2009, "America: between Europe and Asia"

Through my participation in artistic collaborative projects, I am taking close interest in the questions of mediation and devices for group shows.

Born in Toulouse (France) in 1978, I received my Master’s degree in French litterature in 2004 from University Paris 3, with one year Erasmus internship at Vienna University (Austria). Besides, I received a DNSEP (Master of Arts) in 2006 from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Cergy (France) with internships at the artschools of Stuttgart and Munich (Germany).

Since 2007, I am curating the French participation for the Shiryaevo Biennale (Russia). I also have shown works at the 5th Gyumri Biennial (Armenia), the Stuttgarter Kunstverein in 2006 and the GEDOK – Stuttgart (Germany) in 2008.

In 2008-09, I took part in the 18th session of l’Ecole du Magasin (CNAC Grenoble, France) international curatorial training program. Session 18 was invited at the 10th Lyon Biennale (France); our project "Thanks for the add" is currently shown at the Musée d'Art Contemporain, Lyon.

In november 2009, I spent three weeks in Yerevan (Armenia), supported by ECF mobility program "Step Beyond" and the Open Society Institute, Budapest. I first took part in Marianna Hovhannisyan's "Afterclass Meeting" at Armenian Open University, departement of fine arts. Then, I realized a blog based project on Armenian exhibitions strategies, involving interviews of different actors I could meet there and then. These are displayed on my blog in Nov 2009 archives.
